On Tuesday, the singer posted a photo on her Twitter page in which she is seen smiling in the arms of the Barcelona athlete. The picture's caption read, "I present my sun to you." That's a play on the name of her latest album, "Sale el Sol," or "The Sun Comes Out."
Shakira, 34, and Piqué, 24, have been denying dating rumors for months.
The Colombian pop star recently split with longtime boyfriend Antonio de la Rúa after 11 years of dating. The two announced their breakup back in January in a message posted on Shakira's website.
"Since August 2010, we made a mutual decision to take time apart from our romantic relationship," they said. "Throughout this time we have continued to work together hand in hand, have remained close and have kept the details absolutely private until now."
