Mika Nagano - MMA and Wrestling

Mika Nagano was born on December 29th, 1983 in Gifu, Gifu, Japan.
She's five foot three and weighs 114 pounds and before becoming a wrestler, Mika Nagano was a Japanese female mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter.
In MMA, she goes by Mika "Future Princess" Nagano and her win-loss record is 8-4-0.
Her last MMA fight was a win over Emi Murata via submission (armbar) at Jewels - 14th Ring on May 14th, 2011 in Tokyo, Japan.



Mika started her MMA career back in 2006 then debuted with Ice Ribbon in August of 2009.
She stayed with them a few months, then appeared to leave pro wrestling to focus on MMA in February of 2010.

But now it looks like Mika will be doing both MMA and pro wrestling after showing back up in the wrestling promotion Stardom's debut show in January of 2011.

Michiko just has that " look", kind of like Mima Shimoda and Oz.

It's sorta like " I'm gonna kick the crap outta you, and I'm gonna enjoy doing it."

Ayako Seki is a Japanese female wrestler.
She debuted on December 8th, 1999 and won the Rookie of the Year Award from Lady's Gong.
Her first match was a win over Miyuki Fujii.
Ayako wrestled for the All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling wrestling promotion.
She was played up as a "monster" when she debuted, standing five foot seven and weighing in at 231 pounds.

Candy Okutsu

Candy Okutsu (born Tomoko Okutsu January 16, 1975 in Japan) was a female professional wrestler. She made her professional wrestling debut on August 4, 1992. She worked for the JWP Project promotion from then until 1997, when she retired due to an injury. She made her comeback on February 18, 1998 when she had joined the ARSION promotion. She became the first female version of Tiger Mask when she worked a few times as Tiger Dream. Candy Okutsu retired from professional wrestling on January 5, 2001.

"In 'Gaea Girls' (2000), a Japanese wrestling film, the heroes of the ring are not men, but women, and while they sport some pretty fabulous leotards, their moves are a world away from the posturing and theatrics we see in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

'Gaea Girls' follows the sport of women's wrestling in Japan, an intense affair that is both terrifying and fascinating to watch. In the ring, there is the obligatory smoke and flashing lights, the pounding pump-up music and stage names, but it is outside of the ring, at the training base, that most of the drama and excitement actually occurs.

The Gaea Japan training complex sits along a dusty road surrounded by empty farm fields, and is home to a dozen or so girls who cry, sweat and bleed in hopes of graduating to the professional circuit of wrestling.

Unlike most documentaries, the film lacks more than a few individual interviews with its cast, and it provides little context or background for those not familiar with the history of Japanese women's wrestling, or wrestling period. The viewer is thrown into this world of banshee-esque shrieking and flailing limbs, flying drop-kicks and hair-pulling. "
