President Obama has announced that Osama Bin Ladin has been killed just days after WikiLeaks released that "an al-Qaeda commander claims that a such a dirty bomb will apparently be detonated [in Europe] if Osama bin Laden is captured or assassinated." "I remember interviewing Skeeter Rabbit (R.I.P.) from The Electric Boogaloos, he was a very wise and cool guy. He was the first person that really explained the rise of the Crip and Blood dynamic to me. He said that after the Black Community Leadership fell apart through Government actions, Drugs and infighting, the space left was filled by Gangs populated by the Children of the Revolutionary movement. He also talked about the Southern Rascism that followed the Black Diaspora from the South. I was amazed, because I had never heard that side of the story, and it really makes you think about it in a different angle. The quote from the O.G. Blood member in the film, that many people in L.A. are living in "suspended animation", has a whole other meaning.

Unless you spend any time in L.A., or the Southern West Coast in general, it is really hard to understand how intrenched the Gang situation is, and that includes Gangs of all races.
